If you need to add more contributors to your workspace, you can upgrade your plan at any time. Simply log on to the dashboard, go to the subscription management tab and select a plan with a larger bucket of contributors.
You can have an unlimited number of read-only users invited to the project. If you add a guest to a project as a read-only user, they do not count towards your contributors.
No, you only pay for contributors, you do not pay for users who are given the 'Reader' role on a project or workspace.
A contributor is any workspace member or guest who has been granted permission to upload or make changes to a project. These would include any user with the access level of Editor, Writer, Admin or Owner.
For Premium plan subscribers, the storage on your whole workspace is allocated as 1GB of storage per contributor space in your subscription, regardless of whether that space has been allocated to a specific user.
The simplest way is to add more Contributor seats to your workspace. However, if you need more than 20GB of storage, please reach out to our sales team for a customised arrangement.
You can trial Mergin Maps for 28-days, if you think you need a longer trial period you can speak to a member of our sales team.
It's not permitted to share login credentials multiple users. We have implemented a fair use policy of maximum two devices per user.
Unless you have an Enterprise plan, you cannot share your subscription with another workspace, but you can share your workspace with other users, depending on your subscription level.
Yes, the owner of the workspace should either invite you to the workspace as a member or share a project directly with you.
No, a shared project only uses storage from its workspace quota. You can invite other contributors to work on your project for free.
We accept credit/debit cards as a primary method of payment, invoicing is available for payments of €2000 or more.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription any time before the renewal date. You will only be charged until your renewal date.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. If you add new members, changes take effect immediately. However, downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle.

No, the price is exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added to your invoice if applicable.
If you cancel your subscription, you'll be able to download your Mergin Maps data for another 30 days. After 30 days your data are deleted. If you've downgraded your account and used more data than what your plan offers, you will not be able to upload any changes until you've freed up some space
We offer free subscirptions for academics and provide discounts for NGOs depending on their annual budget. For an NGO budget of up to €500k the discount is 60%, a budget up to €1m it is 40%, and a budget over €1m is 20%.

Workspaces are where you store and manage your projects, files and team members. Your workspace is tied to your subscription, so when you delete your workspace, your subscription will be cancelled as well. See more about workspaces here.
